ICAN Mentorship Program
The ICAN Mentorship at San Diego State is designed to help integrate incoming freshman in the College of Sciences to student life at SDSU. Mentors serve to promote academic achievement, campus involvement and professional and personal development. As a mentor, I meet weekly with three students individually to track academic progress, provide insights and ensure their overall success as students.
Program Coordinator: Estralita MartinPh.D, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Director of CASA.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk
The 5K walk at Balboa Park served to honor breast cancer survivors, raise awareness, and raise money to aid the American Cancer Society in the fight against breast cancer.
American Parkinson Disease Association Beach Brigade
The Parkinson's Beach Brigade walk-a-thon was a great success, breaking the record for the highest donations raised (over $298,000) and with over 700 participants. It was a pleasure for me and my family to aid the APDA in their goal to raise awareness, support and funds to improve treatments and research for Parkinson's Disease.
